• Booking Information: Airport, terminal, flight details, preferred times, and booking history.
• Communications: Messages sent through the Platform, support inquiries, and feedback.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, unique device identifiers, and IP address.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the Platform, search queries, and click data.
• Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address. For Sitters, precise location may be collected during active jobs with your consent.
• Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to enhance your experience and collect usage analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform.
• Process bookings, payments, and refunds.
• Send email notifications and booking updates via Resend.
• Verify user identities and conduct background checks on Sitters.
• Facilitate QR code handoffs between Travelers and Sitters.
• Improve, personalize, and expand the Platform.
• Communicate with you about your account, bookings, and support requests.
• Send marketing communications (with your consent, where required by law).
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Stripe

Supabase

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Your account data and booking information is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

Background Check Provider

For Sitters, we use a third-party background check provider. Identity documents and personal information necessary for the background check are shared with this provider.

• Essential Cookies: Required for the Platform to function properly, including authentication and session management.
• Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the Platform so we can improve the experience.

Payment records are retained for 7 years in accordance with tax and financial regulations.

Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits.
